King's Birthday weekend

This year’s *Alpine* Vintage & Classic Auto Show will take place May 31st, 2026 at the National Park Village ‘school grounds’ in Waimarino, located on the corner of Buddo and Carroll St. just off Hwy 4.

All registered entries will be eligible for our ‘People’s Choice’ BEST OF SHOW awards to be presented to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place point leaders following judging on Sunday.

Again for this year’s event, we are opening up to the public the option of joining in the ‘Ruapehu Mountain Run’ which has been scheduled for all entries, attendees and car clubs following the awards presentation - $2 GOLD COIN DONATION FOR

SPECTATORS - Sky Waka raffles, Coffee & Cake, BBQ station and Stalls. A hearty thanks goes out to our nearly 100 entries and volunteer participants from last year’s event which made for just another great day at the school grounds with this year looking to be even bigger and better!

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: Gates Open @ 9:00AM FOR ALL VEHICLE ENTRIES & PARTICIPANTS

9:30AM to 1:00PM…Tea & Coffee / Cake, Slices / BBQ
11:00AM to 12:30PM… Judging throughout the grounds
12:30PM to 1:00PM – ‘People’s Choice’ BEST OF SHOW awards
1:00-2:00PM – Gathering for the ‘Ruapehu Mountain Run’

Those wishing to enter their vehicle or vehicles [Pre-2000 year makes/models only please] may request a no-fee entry application via email at [email protected], noting all show entries are to be received by Friday, May 29th, 2026.
